How can we help?

No. Images are read on your iPhone with Apple Vision and are never uploaded for analysis. If you allow cloud AI, only the recognized text of harder screenshots is sent, with passwords, codes, card numbers and IBANs masked first. Our server keeps none of it. Images leave your iPhone only when you send them yourself: saving a note to Notion adds up to 3 of its images to your own Notion, and sharing to Apple Notes or another app includes them.

Only when you ask, and never in one step. Clearing a card sets it aside. To remove images you review each one in the app, then confirm in the iOS dialog, and they go to Recently Deleted in Photos, where you can recover them for 30 days.

Check Settings › Library in the app. With Photos access limited to selected photos or albums, the app sees only those. The range (for example the last 30 days) and “Include photos of text” also decide what is read. You can give full access in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Screenshot Hero.

Only screenshots and notes sent to the cloud AI. Everything your iPhone settles on its own (rules, duplicates, junk and simple screenshots, and the iPhone's own AI where available) is free and unlimited. Free counts by the day, Monthly by the calendar month. Past the count your iPhone keeps sorting, with simpler cards, until it renews.

On your iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Screenshot Hero. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Monthly until the end of the period you paid for.

Open Settings › Plan in the app and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

Buy Own Key once, then paste an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Nebius or any OpenAI-compatible service in Settings › Plan. The app tests the key, then sends text straight from your iPhone to that provider. Our server isn't used at all. The provider bills you for what the key uses.

In the app, Settings › Language opens iOS Settings, where you choose the language for Screenshot Hero alone. The app speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

Swipe it left to clear it, or open it and choose another action. Nothing happens without your confirmation. In Saved, Redo sends a card back to the Inbox to sort again; Settings › Advanced › Read all cards again reads them with the current AI.
